Michelin Australia providing pathways in 2025 with Girls on Track

Motorsport Australia is pleased to continue and expand its partnership with Michelin Australia in 2025, further strengthening the global tyre brand’s long-standing support of Australian motorsport.

A founding partner of the FIA Girls on Track program in Australia since 2020, Michelin will continue to play a key role in providing opportunities for young women aspiring to build careers in motorsport.

Motorsport Australia General Manager – Partnerships, Scott Tabe-Lewis, welcomed the ongoing partnership and its broader benefits to the sport.

“Motorsport Australia is thrilled to see Michelin, a globally recognised brand deeply embedded in our sport, not only continue their support of FIA Girls on Track but also expand their commitment to motorsport at all levels,” Tabe-Lewis said.

“This partnership goes beyond just supporting the rising stars of our industry—Michelin is also delivering real value to our members, who will benefit from exclusive promotions and offers across their tyre range. It’s a true partnership that assists motorsport from grassroots to the national stage.”

Michelin Australia, Marketing Manager David Laing highlighted the real-world impact of the FIA Girls on Track program, sharing a success story from the initiative.

“As a fantastic example of how the program works; our team and notably PR and Media Manager – Ebony Doherty, a Girls on Track champion, has been active at a number of Pathways events over the years, Laing said.

“At the 2023 Sandown Pathways event, Ebony met Girls on Track participant, Claudia Dimech, who was studying communications and also completing some fantastic, industry aligned internships. Fast-forward less than 12 months – Claudia was successful joining the Michelin Australia marketing team full-time in 2024, as a Communications and Partnership Executive.

“This is testament to the power of the program in opening doors, building networks and fostering the next generation of talented women in the industry. We are proud to be part of such an impactful initiative.”

Michelin Australia’s ongoing commitment to the FIA Girls on Track program ensures aspiring young women in motorsport continue to receive invaluable career development opportunities, helping shape the future of the sport.

With the partnership expanding further in 2025, Motorsport Australia thanks Michelin for their continued support and commitment to growing opportunities for young women and the wider motorsport community.
