Motorsport Australia insurance broker partner MGA Insurance Group has expanded its support of motorsport’s governing body, by becoming a Supporting Partner of its premier development programs.
As part of a broader commitment to continue supporting to support Motorsport Australia and the grassroots community, MGA will be recognised as a Supporting Partner of Motorsport Australia’s Development programs, including FIA Girls on Track, First Gear and Women’s Introduction to Motorsport.
MGA Insurance Group represents the local customer-facing arm of Motorsport Australia, delivering a more responsive and dynamic claims service model for the organisation since becoming Motorsport Australia’s local service provider in 2025.
MGA Group Marketing Manager, Dan Porter, said the partnership offers a chance to invest in the foundation of motorsport.
“These programs play a vital role in shaping the future of the sport,” Porter expressed.
“Our expanded partnership reflects MGA’s commitment to inclusivity, accessibility and long-term development across Australian motorsport.
“We’re proud to support initiatives that open doors for young people and women to explore the many pathways motorsport offers. By investing in these programs, we’re helping ensure the sport continues to grow.”
The FIA Girls on Track initiative is designed to help young girls from around Australia understand the opportunities that await them in the motorsport industry, whether it is as a driver, engineer, mechanic or one of the many other roles in the motorsport industry. FIA Girls on Track offers girls aged 8-22 a unique opportunity to participate in Motorsport Australia’s free Girls on Track events.
First Gear is the easiest and cheapest intro to motorsport, where children aged 12–17 are provided with a car for the day and buddied up with a race driver instructor. First Gear is the first step to getting a full Motorsport Australia licence. Whether you want to get into circuit racing, rally or off road racing, First Gear is the first step.
The Women’s Introduction to Motorsport program is open to women looking to get a start in motorsport. The program is designed for participants to experience motorsport for the first time and in the familiarity of their own road car.
Participants get hands-on experiences from motorsport professionals including how to prepare a vehicle, undertake track exercises focusing on car control and skills, and learning next steps to begin participating in motorsport.
Motorsport Australia Partnerships Manager Loren Di Pietro welcomed MGA Insurance Group’s expanded partnership.

Motorsport Australia Development Manager Charlie Barlow also thanked MGA Insurance Group for the invaluable support the partnership will provide in future years.
