Fresh from claiming the Formula 4 Championship earlier this month, Ojeda was thrilled with the opportunity and impressed with the machinery.
“It was pretty interesting session because I have never driven anything with a roof on it, let alone on the
“The brakes on the TCR car were a lot better than I expected and stepping onto the power out of the corner was really impressive.
“There were a lot of new factors to take in but at the end of the day, it was a cool experience and it’s a cool initiative to link up Australia with the rest of the world.
“I think TCR has a done a great job in coming to Australia.”
It will be a busy few weeks for the young driver, with the 19-year-old to test a range of different vehicles thanks to securing the Championship.
On top of this week’s TCR test, Ojeda will get to drive a Brad Jones Racing prepared Holden Commodore ZB Supercar at Winton, before heading off to New Zealand to take part in a Castrol Toyota Racing Series test day later in December.

“At the TCR launch on Monday, I managed to meet and have a good chat with Brad Jones ahead of the test day at Winton which was really nice.
“Like the TCRs, I have never driven a Supercar, or anything with that sort of power before, so it will be a very cool experience and I am looking forward to it.
“I am also really excited for the Hampton down tests, obviously a little more what I am used to with F4 cars so that should be cool.”
