Club Development Fund Celebrates Five Years
Friday 01 February, 2019
For Five years, CAMS has assisted various car clubs around the country through it's Club Development Fund.
In 2019, CAMS’ Club Development Fund will continue to assist car clubs around the country - the fifth year the fund has been in operation.
Since its inception in January 2015, CAMS has assisted around 65 affiliated car clubs, contributing more than $100,000 in the clubs’ efforts to increase and broaden their respective membership bases.
The fund has also assisted in the running of grassroots programs to provide participation opportunities in regional and metropolitan environments nationwide.
In recent years, the fund has also initiated a female-specific funding category, encouraging clubs to think about ways to provide opportunities for females to participate in grassroots motor sport as both a competitor and/or official.
CAMS recognises the growth in membership numbers and improvements concerning the sustainability level of clubs can be achieved by supporting participation programs and initiatives at the grassroots level.
Any car clubs who are interested in applying for the fund are encouraged to contact their local CAMS Office or email [email protected] to check eligibility and discuss potential projects in more detail.
Frequently Asked Questions and tools to assist clubs in submitting applications for funding can be found on the Club Development Fund’s webpage.
