CAMS (Motorsport Australia) is seeking expressions of interest for multiple roles relating to the 2020 Appointed Officials. 

Appointed Officials

The Appointed Officials Panel consists of three separate disciplines (click for further information):
 
• Technical Delegates
• Race Directors
• Series Stewards
 
These officiating roles are among the most significant in Australian motorsport and are an integral part of CAMS Australian Championships and Series. Each role is voluntary and requires season-long commitment in addition to requisite skills and knowledge.

Coaching Positions

All three disciplines will have coaches appointed in 2020.
 
The callouts follow the recent testing of a new successful coaching program that will help CAMS officials continue to operate at the highest standards.
 
In the first instance, a Head Coach will be appointed for each discipline and if considered necessary, an Assistant Coach will also be appointed. 
 
The purpose of the coaching role is to:
 
• Provide leadership to the Appointed Officials Panel
• Provide a point of reference for Appointed Officials
• Develop skills of Appointed Officials
• Provide training for Appointed Officials
• Review performance of Appointed Officials
• Participate in the selection process of Appointed Officials for 2021 and beyond
• Attend selected events in an observatory capacity
• Identify future talent.
 
The coaching roles will be filled by candidates with the relevant coaching skills, knowledge and experience in their appointed discipline.
 
It is important to note that coaches will not be able to hold an Appointed Officials role. Each coaching role will receive an honorarium.
