Thursday 12 December, 2019
Motorsport fans will be able to watch next year’s Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour on television with the event to be broadcast on both the Seven Network and Fox Sports.

The new broadcast deal will see Fox Sports air the event ad free between 5:30am and 6pm, while Seven will simulcast the event and international audiences will be able to view the event for free through the live stream on the Bathurst 12 Hour website.

The support races, qualifying and Pirelli Top 10 Shootout will also be shown live and ad free on Fox Sports and online streaming service Kayo the previous day.

Event Director Kurt Sakzewski believed the new partnership with both broadcasters was a result of the event’s significant growth in recent years.

“It is a great vote of confidence that Fox Sports is coming on board to broadcast live and ad free the entire 12 hours of the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour in 2020 as well as the exclusive coverage of the support races, qualifying and the Pirelli Top 10 Shoot-Out on the Saturday, ” Sakzewski said.

“With Seven on board to simulcast Fox’s Sunday race broadcast as well, the event can reach even more fans.

"This is a major boost for our partners, sponsors, supporters and competitors who will receive network television airtime around Australia and for our fans, who will be rewarded for their loyalty to the event.”

The 2020 The 2020 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour Event will run at the iconic Mount Panorama from 31 January-2 February.
