Race Chix enhances Networking Lunch

Race Chix Motorsport will be hosting a virtual lunch on Sunday 23 August.
Race Chix Motorsport’s Virtual Networking Lunch are continuing to grow, with two well respected Motorsport Australia officials to speak at the free online event.
Porsche PAYCE Carrera Cup Australia Deputy Race Director Jessica Nicholson and prominent timekeeper Melissa Hatton will now feature as part of the stellar list of individuals looking to inspire women in getting involved with the sport.
Taking place on 23 August, interested participants can register their place at the lunch where they can listen and interact with each special guest, who will have a dedicated 20 minute session of discussing their careers and answer questions.
“The lunch is a way of people seeing and hearing from experienced individuals about what exactly goes on in the motorsport world so it’s not so daunting should they decide to pursue an opportunity.
“I will be covering my Deputy Race Director role because it’s quite unique, as well as all the radio communications that happens in race control when an incident occurs.
“There will be women from different areas speaking such as rally, scrutineering, general officials, drivers and even karting, so there will be lots of topics covered.
“We hope the session will inspire women around the country looking to get involved. It’s a chance for them to network and meet people who they wouldn’t necessarily cross paths with.”
The Race Chix Motorsport Virtual Networking Lunch takes place online via Zoom at 1pm AEST on Sunday 23 August.
