The NSW Chief Health Officer has implemented new restrictions which will impact the ability for events to go ahead in New South Wales.

As of 19 August, no national or state level events (both Championships and Series) can be held anywhere in NSW for an expected six week period.

Regional events may continue, in line with Motorsport Australia’s Return To Race strategy and NSW restrictions, which will allow for local events for local competitors only, with no overnight stays.

Those who had already applied for permits will be contacted directly by Motorsport Australia’s Permits team.

On a national level, no events are currently being permitted in Victoria, however events are being successfully held in other states around Australia in line with Return To Race.
