Kiely and Armstrong latest Girls on Track Q&A hosts
Wednesday 16 September, 2020
Nadine Armstrong will host a one-on-one chat session with Erebus Motorsport's Shannen Kiely on Thursday.
Motorsport Australia will host the second edition of its online FIA Girls On Track program, with another two leading figures in the sport taking part.
Following on from a insightful session with Molly Taylor and Jessica Dane, Motorsport Australia will now welcome two new faces, with carsales Consumer Editor Nadine Armstrong hosting a live one-on-one chat with Erebus Motorsport Managing Director Shannen Kiely on Thursday, 17 September at 4.45pm AEST.
Similar to Dane and Taylor’s chat, the duo will discuss their involvement in the sport and the Girls on Track program, as well as a fielding questions from members of the motorsport community.
Kiely’s rise in the sport has been impressive, with the Queenslander having joined Erebus where she had worked in a media and communications role for the past four years.
In June this year, she was promoted to Erebus’s newly created Managing Director position, where she will continue her current role in communications and assist the team’s CEO, Barry Ryan, with the day to day running of the business.
Meanwhile, Armstrong’s experience is focused on the media side of motorsport and the broader motoring industry.
Armstrong is a motoring enthusiast and has been a motoring journalist for a number of outlets, including Fairfax Media, before she landed at carsales seven years ago in a number of impressive roles.
Both women have a wealth of experience in communications, making them perfect guests for the online series aimed at inspiring young girls to be part of the FIA Girls On Track program and highlight the many possible career paths in motorsport.
