Motorsport Australia Media Awards nominations now open

The tireless work of the motorsport media will again be recognised this year, with nominations for the Motorsport Australia Media Awards now open.
The categories for this year have changed slightly to better reflect the work being carried out in 2020, given the changing landscape of media publications.
The following awards will be presented for 2020:
- Motorsport Australia Journalist of the Year
- Motorsport Australia Photographer of the Year
- Motorsport Australia Photograph of the Year
- Motorsport Australia News Story of the Year (all publications, including digital)
- Motorsport Australia Best Use of Digital Media (podcasts, websites, social media)
Motorsport Australia General Manager of Media and Communications Paul Riordan expected a number of high-quality nominations.
"In a year where on track action was limited, there was certainly plenty of news happening behind the scenes," Riordan said.
"The COVID-19 pandemic saw many media outlets having to adapt and change the way they operate and these awards will look to recognise what was a very unique year for the entire sport.
"We've also updated the categories to make the nomination process easier and appropriate for the way news is delivered to the audience."
All media are encouraged to apply.

here and must be received by 11 December 2020.
