Following the latest announcement from the Victorian Government, Motorsport Australia is pleased to confirm that it will be permitting limited events for regional Victoria.
As of Friday 10 September, Victoria’s regional areas, with the exception of Greater Shepparton, have been released from lockdown restrictions, and the five reasons to leave home have been removed.
Despite the easing of restrictions in regional Victoria, competitive community sport is still not permitted to take place across the state, which means clubs are unable to run competitive events for the time being.
However, other non-competitive activities such as Practice or Test and Tune days can be permitted for regional Victorians. Residents residing in metropolitan Melbourne or Greater Shepparton must continue to abide by their local restrictions, and must not travel to otherwise open areas of Victoria unless they carry authorisation to travel.
Spectators are not allowed to attend venues, with the exception of one parent to supervise participating children.
