Motorsport Australia Board Members Margot Foster AM OLY and Graeme Emerton have been re-elected as Vice Presidents for 2022.

Margot joined the Board in 2018, before being elected as Vice President in 2019. Graeme, meanwhile, has held the role for more than half a decade.

Margot said she was delighted to be re-elected and was looking forward to working further with the strong and effective Board.

“I am very pleased to have been re-elected as Vice President for the Board for the third year in a row,” Margot said.

“It’s been fantastic working with the Board, Eugene (Arocca), the Motorsport Australia team and of course, President Andrew Fraser.
 
“I think Graeme and I have done a good job in supporting Andrew in these unique times – especially since we’ve had very few face-to-face meetings in the last two years.

“I look forward to continuing to support Andrew as his Vice President and deputising for him at both board meetings and at motorsport events and occasions when required.”

Graeme, too, was pleased to again serve as the Vice President for what will be his last year on the board.
 
“It’s gratifying to have that support from your Board colleagues and to further support Andrew as President, together with the CEO and Motorsport Australia team through the challenges of the last couple of years” Emerton said.
 
“With that said, good governance includes renewal and as my (Board) term is up this year, I will be assisting in the transition to my replacement at the end of 2022.”
