Friday 28 January, 2022
TARGA High Country is looking for volunteer officials.
The 2021/2022 Motorsport Australia TARGA Championship resumes shortly with the Victorian based TARGA High Country to take place across three days in mid-February.

With Australia’s best tarmac rally drivers to battle over 20 stages on picturesque roads with breathtaking views of Mount Buller and Mansfield, it’s an event that is a must-see.

Ahead of the second round of the season, the entry list has been confirmed and boasts a healthy line up of 210 entries, half of which will be competing for Championship and category/class awards, while the other half will be running in the tour component of the event.

With entries finalised, event organisers are now looking for officials to help the smooth running of the event.

A variety of different roles are currently being sourced for the event, including single day road closure officials through to team officials who are required for the entirety tarmac rally.

There is no requirement for individuals to have significant volunteering experience at motorsport events, with officials of all levels welcome to take part.

For those who attend, there are many benefits to being part of the event, with the TARGA community regarded highly, with many lifelong friendships and continued support a common theme for those involved.

Outside of the active competition, there are multiple activations for official volunteers to enjoy throughout the weekend, including the Mansfield Targafest, which takes place in the Victorian town from 4:30pm on the Saturday of the event.
