Victorian Motorsport Australia affiliated clubs are encouraged to take advantage of the State Government’s Community Motorsport Program grant scheme.

Part of the Government’s goal of increasing participation within motorsport around the state, clubs can receive up to $20,000 worth of funding through the initiative.

The Community Motorsport Program is currently accepting applications for the fourth and final round of the scheme with more than $650,000 having already been given to Motorsport Australia affiliated clubs across the first three rounds – including the most recent intake which saw up to $267,000 received by clubs.

There are multiple streams clubs can apply for, including Safety and Operational Equipment, Volunteer and Officials Training, Women and Girls Participation, and Events and Activities.

Click here for more information on the program.

As the final round of the program is currently open, clubs have until the end of June to apply for the grant funding and can do so here.

With all applicants to be notified on the outcome of their submissions by September, clubs applying for funding through the Events and Activities stream must be applying for events taking place from August onwards.

Interested clubs should also note that this round of streaming will be the last opportunity to apply for the funding and are highly encouraged to apply now to avoid missing out.

Any club requiring assistance for their application or have questions regarding the program can contact Regional Development Executive Daniel Gorgievski via [email protected] or 0409 612 432.

Clubs who have previously submitted an application and have any further questions can contact SRV directly at [email protected].

The final round of the Victorian Community Motorsport Program scheme ends on 30 June, 2022.
