Pooncarie Early bird entries extended
Wednesday 20 April, 2022
The AORC second round will remain cheaper until entries close.
Event organisers behind the Coomealla Memorial Club and Bendigo Bank Pooncarie Desert Dash have extended the early bird entry prices period until later this month.
With the original end date for the cheaper entry prices having been scheduled to close by Monday 18 April, the Sunraysia Motor Sport Club opted to remove normal pricing and keep it at the cheaper rate.
Crews now have until Friday 29 April to submit their entries for the BFGoodrich Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship’s second round of the 2022 season.

Event Secretary Marilyn Emmins revealed it was an easy decision to make.
“As this is the first time we are running on the AORC calendar, the organising committee believed it as the right call to make for crews,” Emmins said.
“It’s not a significant difference between the two prices but with a six round calendar this year and many crews looking forward towards Finke, which happens a month later, any price drop can help.
“We also believe that the decision to extend the Early Bird entry price all the way through to the end may allow crews as much time as they need to get their cars ready without being punished for entering later.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming the best AORC competitors in the country for what should be an entertaining weekend of off road action.”
Taking place on the first weekend of May, AORC crews will tackle 400 kilometres over four laps spread across two days.
