The 70th anniversary celebrations of Phillip Island Auto Racing Club (PIARC) will continue this weekend, with its regular August Access race meeting.

A number of familiar categories will be on show throughout the weekend, with Superkarts, 2 Litre Sports Sedans and the Circuit Excels all to enjoy time on track.

In addition to the three categories, the event will serve as a round of the PIARC Supersprint series -  a series perfect for individuals looking to dip their toes into the world of motorsport.

The Supersprints provide participants the valuable opportunity for seat time and to do laps around one of the country’s most famous circuits.

Competitors will also get the chance to watch some fantastic racing behind some popular state-level categories that have plenty of entertaining races throughout the year.

Entries for all categories are still open and interested competitors can do so via the Motorsport Australia Member Portal.

The Phillip Island Auto Racing Club’s August Access takes place at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on 5-7 August.
