Current RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Championship (ARC) leader Harry Bates will get his chance against the best in the world next month after securing a drive in the Rally New Zealand.

Bates will team up with regular co-driver John McCarthy for the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) round, with the pair to tackle the event’s WRC2 component in a Skoda Fabia Rally2 evo.
    
The opportunity for the reigning ARC champion came about after receiving the backing of Australian family-owned company, Pedders Suspension & Brakes.
