The Motorsport Australia Victorian Hill Climb Championship (VHCC) has been handed a major boost after extending its partnership with long-term sponsors, Trydel.
As a result of the extension, the partnership will now reach an impressive 10-year milestone after first beginning in 2013.
Having begun its longstanding partnership back in 2013, Tryden have held the naming rights for the state hill climb championship on multiple occasions.
Located in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Trydel is a local family business who specialise in tyre sealant and repair kits - an expertise it has had since it first started producing in 1991.
Founder, Terry Dowel is also known to be a lifelong car enthusiast himself, making the partnership even more so fitting.
Motorsport Australia Victorian Hill Climb Championship Chair, Chris Harwood was excited at the prospect of continuing their long-term partnership.
“It is great to have a major sponsor back on board and being able to celebrate 10 years together next year,” Harwood said.
“They stuck with us throughout COVID which was really good and it meant we were able to continue to not only promote their brand, but ours and Motorsport Australia too.”
“Working with a solely Australian and family-owned business is always great, this is a great opportunity for both parties.”
The 2023 Motorsport Australia Victorian Hill Climb Championship will begin at the Rob Roy Hillclimb on 15 January, 2023.
