With the 2023 FIA Girls on Track Australia season fast approaching, Canberra will be among the many locations welcoming the successful program for a 2023 return in March.
The Canberra event will be the second time the event has run in the ACT where there will be plenty of opportunity for participants to learn more about motorsport and meet some of the sport’s amazing ambassadors.
Running in mid-March, the second Girls on Track event for this year will have both the Inspire and Pathways events available for participants.
A number of the Girls on Track ambassadors will be in attendance throughout both days including Jessica Dane, Romy Mayer and Emily Duggan.
The Pathways component of the program will be held in the nation’s capital for the first time on 16 March. The Pathways event will see girls aged 15-22 get the chance to network and learn from women already in the motorsport industry about their journeys into the sport.

The following day (17 March) will see the Inspire program take place where girls aged between 8 and 15-years-old will get a unique insight into motorsport through a number of activities.
Taking place at the workshop of Neal Bates Motorsport, participants will also have the chance to tour the team’s facilities and meet some of Australia’s best rally drivers.
On hand for the tour of the workshop will be Girls on Track Champion Natasha Smith, who provides technical support to the Toyota team.

Leading Canberra-based IT support and service provider Netier will once again be supporting the two-day event.
Netier HR & Marketing Manager Jess Scanes was thrilled the company was able to support the program again.
“Netier are proud and honoured to be supporting Girls on Track in Canberra again in 2023,” Scanes said.
“After such a successful and sold-out event in 2022, it was evident that young females in Canberra wanted and needed something like this.
“We are beyond excited that the event will be bigger and brighter this year and provide even further developments and opportunities for young women in this space.
“Netier are committed to providing support to ensure initiatives like this take place and give our younger generation of women an opportunity to foster a passion and career in these predominantly male dominated industries.”
The FIA Girls on Track program will be held in Canberra on 16-17 March.
