Motorsport Australia’s 2022 award season officially gets underway this month with national and state awards ceremonies taking place.
Recognising the best-of-the-best from around Australia and within each state during a busy 2022 motorsport season, the awards celebrate the achievements of those both on and off the track.
Headlined by the return of the in-person Motorsport Australia National Gala Awards, presented by Shannons Insurance, it will be another jam-packed period of celebrations.
Following the success of last year’s online ceremonies, state awards will again run virtually via the Motorsport Australia website and will be hosted by Cameron van den Dungen.

Tasmania is the first awards ceremony to take place with the virtual presentation to be held at 7.30pm AEDT on Thursday 16 February.
Just two days later (Saturday 18 February) is the grand return of the National Awards, which will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for the first time since 2020.
This year’s gala dinner will provide guests with the opportunity to rub shoulders with motorsport’s best.
Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and New South Wales will then hold their virtual state ceremonies in the week after the national awards before the combined South Australia and Northern Territory presentation rounds out the awards season at the start of March.
