The Mini Car Club of Tasmania will hold another one of its multi-discipline events on the weekend and has extended an invitation to all.

Taking place over one jam packed day at Baskerville Raceway, the Hill Climb and Club day will involve a number of activities to give participants a chance to try a variety of popular motorsport disciplines.

Making up the event will be runs up the circuit’s dedicated hill climb course in the morning before participants undergo a supersprint in the afternoon where they will complete timed laps of the circuit.

In addition to the hill climb and sprint, the event will also be holding a barbeque for all attendees.

Event organiser Marcus Hart was looking forward to the Club Day and welcoming all to attend.

“The club has been looking forward to this event for a while now as it’s your classic grassroots event where participants are able to get a taste of multiple disciplines,” Hart said.

“Hill climbs and sprints are some of the most popular disciplines in grassroot motorsport and we are pleased to be able to offer this sort of event in just one day.

“Of course, it isn’t just for our own members - we encourage anyone with a Motorsport Australia licence to come on down and have some fun with friends, family and other like-minded people.

“It will be a laid back day with a BBQ and trophies, and participants can use their own car – as long as it meets the basic requirements - so I am hopeful to see plenty of fresh faces at Baskerville.”

Entry fees range from $70 for junior drivers under the age of 18 to $140 for adults, while a family of two can enter for a subsidised price of $200.
