The South Australian Government’s SA Car Club Program is now accepting applications for the second round of funding.

The four-year program was introduced in 2022 as a way for the State Government to contribute to car clubs, who play a pivotal role in the South Australian community.

The SA Car Club Program offers grants up to a value as high as $500,000 through three streams - events and activities, infrastructure and program, equipment and operations.

The intention of the funding is to help these clubs increase club participation, host events, improve facilities and/or streamline operations.

Applications for the round will continue to be accepted until 12pm ACDT on Friday 22 December and will be assessed in January and February next year, with successful clubs to be notified from March onwards.

To assist clubs in making the applications, The Department for Infrastructure and Transport will be hosting an information session at 5:30pm ACDT on Wednesday 29 November.

Clubs can register their attendance via email to [email protected], noting their name and club.

Three clubs received a combined $135,000 for the first round of the program this year, with each club putting the money towards integral projects such as track resurfacing, upgrades to IT software and the purchasing of event-related equipment.
