Girls on Track to get a Kick at AGP

The Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber has confirmed it will continue to give its full support of the FIA Girls on Track Career Development and Mentoring event at the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix for the next two years.
 
Having been part of the program since 2022, the Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber will extend its support by giving two lucky participants from last year’s program the opportunity to shadow the team at the upcoming Australian Grand Prix in March.
 
With its support carrying over until the 2025 Australian Grand Prix, two participants from this year’s FIA Girls on Track Career Development and Mentoring event will be selected to gain work experience with the team next year.
 
In addition to offering the unique opportunity to shadow the team during the whole Grand Prix, Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber will also undertake a meet and greet in the Formula 1 Paddock with drivers, key team personnel and all 20 of the FIA Girls on Track participants.

Further to the unforgettable experience, all individuals  who apply to the attend the event will be invited to an exclusive webinar delivered by the Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber. Details of the webinar will be shared later on during the year.

Prospective candidates aged 15-22 are encouraged to submit their application via the FIA Girls on Track page and have until 11:59pm AEDT on Sunday, 4 February to do so. Applicants will be notified via email by Friday, 23 February with the status of their application.

Ahead of the 2024 program, Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber released a statement emphasising its commitment to the program. 
 
“Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber is proud to work once again alongside Girls on Track Australia to promote the participation of young women in motorsports,” the statement read.
 
“The team will offer two girls a unique opportunity to be part of our operations during the Australian Grand Prix, getting an in-depth insight into the nuts and bolts of a Formula One team and gaining an understanding of motorsports at the highest level.
 
“Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber is committed to promoting a more diverse new generation of Formula One personnel, and this initiative falls within the scope of our ambitious plans in this regard.”
