Motorsport Australia affiliated car clubs may be required to lodge a return with the ATO.
The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has introduced a new reporting requirement for Not-For-Profits (NFPs). From 1 July, ABN registered non-charitable NFPs are required to lodge an annual NFP self-review return to confirm its income tax exemption status.
Motorsport Australia affiliated car clubs may be required to lodge a return with the ATO which would take around 10 minutes to complete.
