After more than seven years with Motorsport Australia Paul Riordan will depart the organisation in September.
Riordan first joined the then Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) in July 2017 and has held various senior roles in the organisation during the past seven years, most recently as the Director Corporate Affairs.
His resignation from the role will see him depart the organisation on 16 September.
Motorsport Australia CEO Sunil Vohra thanked Riordan for his valuable contribution.
“I’d like to congratulate Paul on a terrific tenure at Motorsport Australia,” Vohra said.
“Paul has been an important member of the senior leadership team for many years and overseen media and communications, along with broader strategic initiatives for the organisation. Paul has been a sounding board for many in the organisation and the broader industry and leaves a strong legacy.”
Riordan thanked all those who he had worked with during his stint at Motorsport Australia.
“It’s been an honour and a privilege to work with so many great people who are part of our sport,” Riordan said.
“I’ve got so many great memories from the past seven years and have met some of the most amazing people who make motorsport what it is today.
“The Motorsport Australia team itself is a huge asset to the organisation and constantly go above-and-beyond in their efforts to ensure our sport remains stronger than ever.
“We also have the best officials in the world who have been nothing but supportive and helpful during my time and I thank them for being so accommodating to me and our team.
“I am also honoured to have worked closely with a media collective that has been a pleasure to deal with and made many lifelong friends.”
