Early bird entries for the Sandown 300 Team Regularity Event will soon close, with competitors encouraged to secure their place ahead of the 9 February deadline.
Taking place on Sunday 23 March 2025, this iconic event has been redesigned to cater to a wider audience. With the early bird team entry fee of $1,500 closing on 9 February, now is the time to get involved in this thrilling endurance event. Standard entries will close on 17 March.
Updates for 2025
- New grouped sessions – The field will be divided into four groups based on nominated lap times, ensuring safer, more competitive racing among similarly paced cars. Group 1 featuring the fastest cars and Group 4 catering to the slower vehicles.
- No minimum lap time – New grouped sessions mean no minimum lap time.
- More track time – Teams will consist of four drivers with a revised event duration of five hours, meaning more seat time and an action-packed day.
- Pre-race practice – A 13-minute Sunday morning practice session is included, and for those wanting extra track time, Marque Sports Car Association will be running sessions on Saturday.
- Optimised seeding system – Cars will be paced within their group to minimise traffic and enhance racing consistency.
Due to the nature of the event, participants should have previous experience at Sandown and in club sprints or regularities. Those with limited experience should email the Track Director at motorsport@pcv.com.au with their track history before entering.
