Motorsport Australia honoured long-serving senior officials at an exclusive event at the opening round of the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix.

In honour of their distinguished tenure as an Official at Australia’s premier motorsport event, 21 of the sport’s most respected officials were recognised for their decades-long dedication to the sport.

The invite only event hosted trackside celebrated the passion, expertise, and commitment of our long-standing officials whose contributions are the cornerstone of our motorsport community.

This celebration comes at a time when many of the widely respected individuals hand over key officials duties in line with succession plans that support the development of future generations of Motorsport Australia Officials.

Motorsport Australia’s Sporting & Technical Director, Lisa Crampton congratulated the officials on their role within the Australian Grand Prix throughout the years.

“Motorsport Australia’s commitment to elevating emerging talent into senior positions, while ensuring continued mentorship from our most experienced officials, is designed to strike a balance between fostering new leadership and preserving the knowledge and expertise of those who have shaped the sport in a profound way.”

The honours list is in recognition of officials who have dedicated 40 years to the sport.

The Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix will see close to 1000 Motorsport Australia officials in action to deliver the iconic event.
