Beeton & Sargent building momentum overseas

Formula Regional European Championship – Le Castellet

Young Australian driver Jack Beeton has wrapped up his race weekend at Paul Ricard, marking the midway point of the 2025 season.

Beeton started his weekend with the opening Collective Test, providing dry and warm track conditions for the Aussie to round out the top ten.

His pace improved in the second Collective Test, finishing the session in sixth with a time of 1:58.625.

Qualifying proved to be challenging, welcoming the drivers with rain five minutes into the session.

These conditions weren’t favourable for Beeton, with rainfall occurring as soon as the Aussie left the pits.

Beeton was able to gain pace before a red flag ended the session, leaving the Aussie in 14th for Race One.

The first race proved successful for Beeton, recovering from a start near the back of the grid and making some strong overtakes, crossing the finish line tenth in the end.

Starting in 14th again, Beeton’s second race came to an unfortunate end, breaking his front wing that forced an early retirement.

Besides this setback, Beeton remains focused for the rest of the season to deliver stronger results.

The Formula Regional European Championship will for the sixth round at Imola, taking place on 2-3 August.

GT World Challenge America – Virginia

Tom Sargent had an eventful weekend at Virginia International Raceway, with hopes to come back even stronger in the next round.

The Australian and teammate Kyle Washington secured 13th in the first Qualifying, with a time of 1:47.932.

The duo delivered a stellar performance in Race One, surging hard to take home fourth.

Race Two was disappointing for the GMG Racing team, with them leading part of the race before retiring due to Washington being too unwell.

Sargent is ready to bounce back at Road America on 15-17 August.
