A relatively quiet weekend for our drivers overseas, with the international spotlight shining on a lone event in China.

TCR World Tour – Zhuzhou

Supercars champion Will Brown filled in for HMO Customer Racing driver Josh Buchan for the recent China portion of the TCR World Tour in Zhuzhou, as Buchan participated in the GT World Challenge Australia at New Zealand’s Hampton Downs.

Brown’s weekend at the Zhuzhou International Circuit consisted of a fourth, seventh, and fourth result across the weekend’s three races.

Teammate Ryan MacMillan had a consistent weekend of results with finishes of 12th, 13th, and sixth.

In his second race, MacMillan finished the race with suspension issues, meaning the Hyundai i30 N would need repairs for the third and final race of the weekend.

In the third race, an incident at the end of the race saw three cars getting into a tangle on the final lap, which provided MacMillan a chance to jump several spots by sweeping around the outside of the scene and ending the weekend on a positive note.

The HMO Customer Racing team will head to Macau for the TCR World Tour Final on 13-16 November. Buchan will return alongside MacMillan for the weekend.
