Fifteen-year-old Noah Killion accomplished a life-long dream in 2025, winning Australia’s top single-seater championship title after a year of triumph, challenges and resilience.

Driving with famed open-wheel squad AGI Sport, Killion made the jump to circuit racing after years of development in the Karting Australia pipeline.

His focus quickly turned to how to adapt to a bigger, faster and more challenging machine among a field of equally talented and determined AU4 Championship competitors.

“There was a huge amount of effort behind the scenes that most people don’t see,” Killion noted.

“I spent a lot of time at Focus Driver Performance, working on form, strength, conditioning, cognitive skills, and simulator training.

“The AGI team played a massive role too, from car setup and race prep, to video and data analysis, they helped make sure I was always improving. And of course, I wouldn’t have been able to do it without help from my parents, who have made this all possible.”

Killion’s biggest lessons in the season came in the first round at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, but still managed to secure a win in the process.

Lessons were learned quickly, and Killion’s pace was front and centre in Round 2 back at Tailem Bend, securing another race win and a clean sweep of fastest laps among the Gen 2 field.

The championship tide started to swing from that point on, and Killion began to increase his hold throughout the rest of the season.

“There were definitely some difficult moments early on, and a few mistakes that I had to learn from,” Killion added.

“I think the turning point came around Round 2, Race 1, where I had a moment of realisation that I really could be the AU4 Champion.

“From that moment, I started approaching each race with a better mindset and kept learning from previous mistakes to become more consistent.”

Over the remaining three rounds and nine races, Killion would drive to seven wins, including a triple-win weekend at Sydney Motorsport Park to claim the AU4 Championship.

“I felt a mix of relief, pride, and achievement when I stepped out of the car for the final time this season,” Killion stated.

“It was an incredible feeling knowing all the hard work throughout the season had paid off. There was definitely a sense of accomplishment, not just for myself but for the team and everyone who supported me along the way.

“Becoming the AU4 Champion and finally achieving it made all of the effort worth it.”

The win also secured a test with a championship-winning team in the United States, which will form part of what is next for the youngster.

Killion has more testing lined up with US Racing, followed by the F4 UAE Trophy Series where he will also race at the Yas Marina during the F1 weekend in December.

Killion also plans to participate in the Spanish Winter Series, and both Italian and European F4 in 2026.

Adding to Killion’s year to remember, he is currently completing European F4 testing at some of Italy’s most iconic tracks.

The Aussie finished the weekend in the fastest top three during his European debut at Monza, before securing a P1 overall finish on Day 2 at Mugello earlier this month.

Next up for Killion will be a two-day test at Imola from 18-19 November.
