Weekend Warm-Up: 29-30 November

Major motorsport events will provide a thrilling finish to the month of November.

Racing will commence on the streets of Adelaide from Friday for the final round of the Repco Supercars Championship at the bp Adelaide Grand Final.

Three races totalling 600km will decide who will be crowned the 2025 Supercars Champion in the first year of a revamped Finals Series format.

Drivers Broc Feeney, Chaz Mostert, Will Brown and Kai Allen remain in contention to win the Championship, with support categories including Porsche Carrera Cup Australia, Aussie Racing Cars, Super2 Series and Trans Am all set to crown champions of their own this weekend.

In North-East Victoria, the rally community will converge on the region of East Gippsland with the Historic Rally Association hosting the 2025 Lovells Alpine Rally from Friday to Sunday.

“The Alpine” is a special stage rally for two wheel drive classic rally cars and has regularly attracted the very best of Australia’s gravel rally competitors from all states and territories. The event also attracts international competitors from New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States and Ireland.

The 2025 event will be based in Lakes Entrance and will visit townships such as Nowa Nowa, Orbost, and Bruthen, before finishing on the Lakes Entrance Foreshore.

Victoria will take on the lion share of public events this weekend with nine events from Friday through to Tuesday.

At the grassroots level, the Marque Sports Car Association of Victoria will run its Come and Try Day at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit Saturday, Gippsland Car Club is scheduled to host a Hill Climb event at Bryant Park and Swan Hill Sporting Car Club’s Test and Tune/Come and Try Day event at Swan Hill Motorplex takes place over Saturday and Sunday.

Geelong Revival Motoring Festival also returns to the Geelong Waterfront this weekend where the renowned Quarter-Mile Sprint takes centre stage on Ritchie Boulevard.

A trio of events across three different motorsport disciplines will put on a great showing of motorsport on offer in New South Wales.

The Historic Sports and Racing Car Association of New South Wales’ 2025 Summer Festival, Central North Coast Sporting Car Club’s Christmas Autocross and Hills District Car Club’s Club Captain Rally Sprint will all run over the weekend with strong attendances expected.

Further north in Queensland, the Far North Queensland Motorsports Club heads to Tepon Raceway on Saturday and Sunday for its Gravel Khanacross Kingy’s Cup, the Mount Cotton Hill Climb Series reaches Round 6 over both days and Racing Together takes over Manton Park for its Training Day event on Saturday.
