Motorsport Australia is appalled by the terrorist attack at Bondi Beach on Sunday, 14 December, that occurred during a Jewish community celebration of Hanukkah, a festival of light.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Jewish community, to victims, their families, and everyone affected.

This is a time to come together to grieve, support one another, and to stand in solidarity with members of the Jewish community.

We also acknowledge the courage and professionalism of the first responders, along with the brave members of the public who helped protect others in moments of danger.

As a mark of respect for the lives lost, all flags at Motorsport Australia are being flown at half-mast. We are also encouraging our staff to consider the request by the Blood Bank for additional blood donations at this time.

Motorsport Australia supports a multicultural and tolerant Australia, where all communities feel safe.
