The Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship (AORC) is pleased to announce Comiskey Mining Services as the naming rights partner for 2026, the 45th year of the championship.
Comiskey Mining Services will be the naming rights sponsor of the national championship for the first time in its history.
To be known as the Comiskey Mining Services Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship, the move represents a major boon for the championship.
A major supporter of off road racing for many years, Comiskey Mining Services directors Brett Comiskey and Brendan Camilleri have been passionate off road competitors for almost 10 years – with Camilleri’s son Kye also a regular in the Pro Buggy class.
Motorsport Australia CEO Josh Blanksby welcomed Comiskey Mining Services as the championship’s new naming rights partner.
“Comiskey Mining Services stepping in as naming rights partner for the championship’s 45th year is a significant milestone,” Blanksby said.
“Brett Comiskey’s long-standing involvement in off road racing is well-known among the off road community, and for Comiskey Mining Services to jump aboard the championship this year is further testament to that.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Brett, Brendan, and their team as we head into what is shaping up to be a strong 2026 season.”
Brett Comiskey, Managing Director, Comiskey Mining Services, joined Blanksby in expressing excitement less than a fortnight out from the beginning of the 2026 AORC campaign.
“Off road racing has been a huge passion of mine for many years, so supporting the championship at this level is incredibly special to me personally,” Comiskey added.
“As a local, family-owned business, we’re proud to partner with Motorsport Australia and the Off Road Championship, and contribute to the continued growth of the category.
“With the season just around the corner, we can’t wait to see the competition get underway.”
Motorsport Australia Off Road Manager Campbell Smith outlined the historical importance of Comiskey Mining Services offering its support for the upcoming season.
“To have Comiskey Mining Services support the championship in its 45th year adds real significance to the season,” Smith concluded.
“Their commitment reflects the strength and momentum within Australian off road racing.
“This partnership will help us continue delivering a competitive and professional national championship.”
The 2026 Comiskey Mining Services Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship season begins with the Pooncarie Desert Dash in Pooncarie on 10-12 April.
