February’s Supercheap Auto Official Superstar is Nathan Newton, recognised for his outstanding contributions during Rally Tasmania in November—the first time the event was held in Burnie.

From the initial planning stages, Nathan’s dedication and initiative were evident. He played a key role in scoping out locations, engaging with local businesses, and handling much of the pre-event organisation. His local knowledge and strong connections proved invaluable in recruiting a team of officials to assist, ensuring the event ran smoothly.

Described as approachable and dependable, Nathan went above and beyond, taking on numerous tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism. Balancing his volunteer efforts with a full-time job and a young family, he devoted his personal time to ensuring the rally’s success.

While many officials contributed to this memorable event, Nathan’s exceptional efforts stood out. His hard work, initiative, and commitment were integral to making Rally Tasmania a huge success, particularly in its debut in Burnie.
