The Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025 is set to be an unforgettable event, powered by Motorsport Australia.

Whether developing the next generation of talent or honouring motorsport legends, there are plenty of opportunities for fans to connect with the sporting community.

The FIA Motorsport Australia Girls on Track Career Development and Mentoring Program returns to the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix in 2025, providing young women aged 16-22 with an opportunity to experience the world of motorsport, firsthand.

Taking place on Thursday, 13 March, this program will offer participants an exclusive look behind the scenes of one of the world’s most iconic motorsport events. Highlights include a garage tour with the Kick Sauber F1 Team, a meet and greet with its drivers, networking opportunities with industry professionals, and Q&A sessions with inspiring guest speakers who will share insights into motorsport career pathways.

“Girls on Track is an incredible program that truly embodies the spirit of diversity, equity, and inclusion within motorsport,” said Stefano Battiston, Chief Commercial Officer, Sauber Motorsport.

“Collaborating with Motorsport Australia on this initiative allows us to break down barriers, make our sport more accessible, and inspire the next generation of young women and girls to see a future for themselves in motorsport.

“From experiencing the dynamic world of racing to understanding the opportunities off the track, this program opens doors and fosters a more inclusive community, which is vital for the growth and evolution of our sport.”

Now in its fourth year, the program continues to inspire and empower young women, with many past participants securing valuable roles and experiences in major events like MotoGP and the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.

“Girls on Track is all about creating opportunities and breaking down barriers for young women in motorsport,” says Charlie Barlow, Development Manager Motorsport Australia.

“This program provides a unique, hands-on experience at one of the world’s biggest motorsport events, connecting participants with industry professionals and real career pathways. We’ve seen past participants go on to secure incredible roles in motorsport, and we’re excited to continue inspiring the next generation of talent in 2025 and beyond.”
