The motorsport community across the country is busy preparing for a wave of events this weekend in six different states, including three State Championship-level events taking place from Friday to Sunday.
In all, 23 events in clubland are scheduled to take place this weekend with Victoria leading the charge on six of those.
Round Six of the New South Wales Hillclimb Championship sits at the top of the schedule across New South Wales, beginning on Saturday and ending Sunday at Tamworth’s Oakburn Park.
Westlakes Automobile Club’s July Rallysprint and Deniliquin Sporting Car Club’s Sixth Round of Autocross will also draw an influx of drivers over the two days.
Round Four of the Tasmanian State Motorkhana Championship will lead a pair of events on the Apple Isle, launching at the Latrobe Speedway this Sunday thanks to the efforts of the MG Car Club of Tasmania. Running in conjunction with the State Championship, will be North West Car Club’s Motorkhana event taking place the day before.
Gaining all the attention out west will be the 2025 Karri Rally as the Fourth Round of the West Australia Rally Championship takes place in Manjimup and its surrounding areas on Saturday and Sunday. It is the only Motorsport Australia event taking place in West Australia this weekend, and draws thousands of spectators each year.
Motorsport Australia FIA Girls on Track Play Well Program visits the Sandown International Raceway later today as part of our commitment to to inspiring girls and women aged 15 – 22 years old to pursue career pathways in motorsport.
Pakenham Auto Club will also be running its own Non-Competitive Junior Come & Try Day and Khanacross Test & Tune at 21 Key Lane, Pakenham on Saturday and Sunday, providing a great opportunity for Victorians new to motorsport to get involved in safe and beginner-level car activities.
