The Victorian State Race Series welcomes two new categories to its upcoming round at Sandown.
Round 4 of the Victorian State Circuit Racing Championship on 22-24 August at Sandown International Raceway will introduce an Invited Touring Cars category for all pre-2012 Supercars as well as Formula RX8.
Victorian State Race Series is putting the call out to owners of pre-2012 Supercars, offering an opportunity for drivers to return to the home of horsepower.
Each Trico Victorian State Circuit Racing Championship event attracts more than 200 competitors, promising at least one category of interest for every spectator.
Each ticket purchased allows spectators to get up close to the cars and drivers with free paddock access included.
All categories will conduct qualifying on the Saturday morning, followed by Race 1 on Saturday afternoon, and two feature races on Sunday for each category.

Meanwhile, Formula RX8’s appearance at Sandown will take shape as Round 4 of its 2025 Championship season before it heads to Phillip Island in October.
The round promises non-stop action, fierce rivalries, and high-speed drama starting from the Friday qualifying session through to Sunday’s feature race.
The new categories will join the National Formula Ford Championship, Formula Vee, Saloon Cars, BMW E30 Challenge, Hyundai Excels, Historic Touring Cars, Formula Vee, Porsche 944 Challenge and Production Sports Cars categories over the three days.
