This weekend brings the busiest events period of the month and has the motorsport community buzzing as participants from all over the country prepare to get behind the wheel at the club, state and national level.
Six State Championship events, coupled with an Australian Rally Championship (ARC) event and a Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship (AORC) event, will set the tone over the next two days, with another 24 club events scattered around the country.
The reliable South East Queensland Off Road Racing Association has its hands full this weekend, bringing the 2025 KMC Wheels St George 399 to fruition for the fourth and penultimate event of the AORC season.
Further south in Victoria, Round 4 of the ARC’s The Middle of Everywhere Gippsland Rally is set in the north-east of the state, as the 2025 competition standings tighten in the final rounds of the season.
The Westlakes Automobile Club will host the August NSW Khanacross Saturday in Awaba, while the New South Wales-based Impreza WRX Club will conduct Round 4 of the 2025 Octane Motorkhana Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park on Saturday.
Queensland’s rally supporters will also get their fill of action this weekend, with the Brisbane Sporting Car Club hosting two rounds of the Motorsport Australia Queensland Rally Championship at Imbil. The postponed Round 5 and Round 2 events will take place on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The Bend Motorsport Park will set the backdrop for Event 6 of the Motorsport Australia 2025 South Australian Motor Racing Championship from Friday, while CARCO.com.au Raceway is the venue for the Motorsport Australia Western Australia State Motorkhana Championship Round 4 on Saturday.
In metropolitan Victoria, Round 4 of the Trico 2025 Victorian State Circuit Racing Championships descends on Sandown International Raceway featuring additional categories across the three-day event.
