FIA Girls on Track Empower program heads to Bathurst 1000

After a successful debut of the FIA Girls on Track – Empower program, the unique, hands-on initiative will be heading to the 2025 Bathurst 1000, offering women aged 18-22 the opportunity to gain direct experience at one of the nation’s most famous event.

In partnership with Walkinshaw Andretti United and the Blanchard Racing Team, theFIA Girls on Track initiative will immerse participants in the fast-paced world of motorsport.

The program offers invaluable industry experience and behind-the-scenes access, allowing young women to work alongside industry professionals and gain insights into the dynamic processes that drive a motorsport event.

There will be three opportunities available for the 2025 Bathurst 1000 weekend:

Walkinshaw Andretti United – Corporate Hospitality Experience
Wednesday 8 October – Sunday 12 October 2025

Walkinshaw Andretti United is offering one successful applicant a placement within their trackside corporate hospitality suite, assisting with the delivery of premium guest experiences across the Bathurst 1000 weekend.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone passionate about the commercial, customer experience, or event management side of motorsport.

Blanchard Racing Team – Commercial Assistant
Thursday 9 October – Sunday 12 October 2025

Blanchard Racing Team is offering one successful applicant an opportunity to work closely with the Blanchard Racing Team Commercial Manager across the Bathurst 1000 weekend to support the management of socials, pit tours and driver appearances throughout the event.

Blanchard Racing Team – Mechanic/Tyre Assistant
Thursday 9 October – Sunday 12 October 2025

Blanchard Racing Team is offering one successful applicant an opportunity to work closely with the Blanchard Racing Team Tyre Team and Race Mechanics across the Bathurst 1000 weekend.

FIA Girls on Track Platinum Partner Shannons will also take part in the Empower program at Bathurst, with select participants to rotate on the fan-favourite Super Rig activation across the weekend.

Applications for the Empower Bathurst Program are now open to young women aged 18-22 residing in Bathurst or within a 30-minute drive of Mount Panorama. Interested participants will need to be available for all days of the placement, have a strong interest in pursuing a career in motorsport, and be able to organise their own transport and accomodation.
