There are 15 Motorsport Australia events taking place across the country this weekend, including New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia, providing a wide array of opportunities for spectators and officials to get involved.

The largest drawcard of the weekend, the Repco Bathurst 1000, is already welcoming thousands of spectators to New South Wales’ Mount Panorama where circuit racing will continue up until the end of ‘The Great Race’ into the twilight hours on Sunday.

Motorsport Australia also announced 600 total officials will commit their weekends to ensuring fair and safe racing, with 473 officials allocated to crucial race day roles at the iconic event.

The Repco Bathurst 1000 is not the only event taking place in New South Wales, with a handful of club and state-level events slated this weekend.

The Coffs Harbour and District Sporting Car Club has been given the hosting duties for this year’s 2025 Quality Accounting Coffs Coast Rally on Saturday, which will serve as the final round of the Shamrock Haulage NSW Rally Championship and the NSW Clubman Rally Series.

A pair of events will also be held at Sydney Motorsport Park’s Skid Pan, both of which will take place on Sunday. The Impreza WRX Club hosts Round 5 of the Octane Motorkhana Championship and the BMW Drivers Club of NSW will conduct a Skidpan Driver Experience session for those looking to get more involved with motorsport.

The lone event in South Australia will see more than 130 competitors make the journey to Shell V-Power Motorsport Park for the 2025 Motorsport Australia Hill Climb Championship over Saturday and Sunday where the best hill climb drivers in the country will go head-to-head for the chance to be named Australian hill climb champion.

The Central Queensland Motor Sporting Club will host Round 3 of its Khanacross Series Sunday at Rosel Park in Rockhampton and TECCWA’s Red Mist Series 15 returns to Perth Motorplex the same day for its fifth event of the season.

In Victoria, Marque Sports Car Association Victoria is running Round 7 of the club’s Super Sprint Championship on Saturday, Western District Car Club will host a Women’s Introduction to Motorsport event at Geelong Motor Sports Complex the same day, and the Austin 7 Sports Club concludes its Observed Section Trial season with a two-day trial in Gilderoy concluding Sunday.
