Jayden Kelly will join McLaren’s new introduced GT3 Junior category as part of the McLaren Factory Driver Programme, adding another major achievement to remarkable past year of his career.
Kelly wrapped up a standout 2025 season, after being crowned the McLaren Trophy Europe Champion alongside his team Greystone GT.
The Australian’s championship-winning campaign showcased front-running speed, consistency, and an ability to perform under pressure across Europe’s iconic circuits.
“It’s a great opportunity to keep building on the momentum from last season and continue developing at GT3 level,” Kelly stated.
“I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful for the continued support and belief from all those at McLaren – I can’t wait to represent this iconic brand once again.”

The GT3 Junior category was created to support and develop McLaren’s next generation of elite GT racing talent, with the 2026 line-up featuring 10 of the most promising young GT competition drivers competing at the highest levels of the sport.
Further underlining his potential at the highest level, Jayden also claimed a podium finish on his GT3 debut at the Red Bull Ring in Austria during the International GT Open season, delivering a mature performance against established GT3 competitors.

Managing Director of MBP, Kelly’s talent agency, Alex Watts was pleased to see Kelly making another positive step in his career through McLaren’s programme.
“Jayden’s performances, work ethic and results in just two years of GT competition have been fantastic, and we thank McLaren for recognising and rewarding this,” Watts said.
“Jayden’s development and race programme for 2026 is coming along really well, and we look forward to working alongside McLaren in what is set to be another exciting year of competition.”
As part of the GT3 Junior programme, Kelly will benefit from increased manufacturer support, technical development opportunities, and a clear pathway towards future factory driver status.
