The motorsport community is busy this weekend with fifteen events on the calendar, most of which are hosted in Victoria and News South Wales, providing spectators and competitors with a good range of disciplines to enjoy.
Two major events taking part in the New South Wales/ACT region will welcome thousands of visitors. The first being the annual Festival of Speed Canberra, hosted by the Canberra Racing Club at Thoroughbred Park from Saturday to Sunday.
Motor Racing Australia will also commence the 2026 MRA Series with Round 1 to descend on Sydney Motorsport Park this Sunday, marking a major moment for motorsport in New South Wales following the MRA’s alignment to Motorsport Australia.
The Porsche Club of NSW, BMW Drivers Club of NSW and MG Car Club of Newcastle will also hold club-level events throughout the weekend.
South Australia’s Touge Alliance hosts its first Cars and Coffee Murray Bridge gathering of the year, a favourite for the local motorsport community.
Hobart Sporting Car Club will host the first round of the 2026 Tasmanian Circuit Racing Championship in the next two days at Baskerville Raceway.
Half a dozen club events are on the agenda in Victoria. Among them are a couple Come & Try events hosted by Ford Four Car Club and Westmere Motor Sport.
The MG Car Club of Victoria also hosts an Interclub Challenge, Pakenham Auto Club hosts a Test and Tune event, and the Marque Sports Car Association of Victoria will run Round 1 of its SuperSprint Series at Phillip Island.
