August will round out as one of the busiest months on the motorsport calendar, with another packed weekend of competition scheduled across the country.
Close to 30 events will take place from Friday through Sunday, covering everything from circuit racing and rallying, to khanacross, motorkhana, hillclimbs, supersprints and autocross.
The Australian Capital Territory will feature the SDMA Tri-Series Hillclimb at Fairbairn Park Motorplex, with the two-day event set to provide plenty of hillclimb action.
New South Wales has seven events scheduled, including the APEX STEEL 2026 Australian Muscle Car Masters at Sydney Motorsport Park. Historic hillclimb competition will also feature at Mountain View Motorsport Complex, while events at Colo Park, Mount Cooperabung and Ringwood Park will provide further variety across the state.
The Northern Territory will have one event on the calendar, with Round 8 of the 2026 NT Motorkhana Club Championship taking place at Hidden Valley Motor Complex on Friday.
Queensland has the biggest contingent of events this weekend, with a strong mix of disciplines spread across the state. Morgan Park Raceway will host Round 3 of the QSSS C Series, while Queensland Raceway will feature the TGRA Scholarship Series and Queensland Motorkhana Championship. Rallying will also take centre stage around Ingham with the 2026 Ingham Toyota Forest Rally.
South Australia will feature four events, led by the MSS Safety Rally Barossa on Saturday. Hillclimb competition will take place at Collingrove, while Porsche Club of SA will host a motorkhana at The Bend Motorsport Park and EP Autosports Club will stage Round 6 of its Club Championship at Port Neill.
Tasmania will have one event, with the Highclere Motorkhana forming Round 3 of the 4front Real Estate Khana Series on Saturday.
Victoria will also have a busy weekend, with events ranging from the VIOLA Private Wealth Winton 300 at Winton Motor Raceway to khanacross competition at Pakenham, Bryant Park and Boisdale.
Western Australia rounds out the weekend with the 60th Safari in Grimwade, a special stage rally at Grimwade Plantation on Saturday.
