A busy weekend of motorsport awaits, with 29 Motorsport Australia-permitted events taking place across seven states and territories.
New South Wales tops the schedule with nine events, followed by Queensland with six and Victoria with seven. Western Australia will host three events, while South Australia and the Northern Territory each have two. Tasmania completes the line-up with one event.
New South Wales will headline the weekend with the 2026 Motorsport Australia NAPA Australian Khanacross Championship, contested across Awabawac Park and Ringwood Park Motorsport Complex on 17–18 October. The state will also feature circuit action at Sydney Motorsport Park, where the MRA Series returns for Round 7, alongside a strong grassroots program of khanacross and motorkhana events.
Queensland will host an extensive khanacross program, with five events scheduled across the state. The QSSS C Series will contest Round 4 at Morgan Park Raceway, while Ipswich West Moreton Auto Club stages Round 5 of its Open Sprint series at Willowbank Park.
South Australia’s major attraction will be the 2026 Shannons Adelaide Rally, with competitors tackling stages throughout the Adelaide Hills and surrounding regions from 16–18 October. Hillclimb SA will also host Round 5 of the Atom Sprints at The Bend Motorsport Park.
Victoria’s seven-event calendar features the Mt Tarrengower Historic Hill Climb and the 2026 Lucas Automotive Marysville Stages. Sandown Raceway will host two supersprint events, while the Victorian Motorkhana and Khanacross Championship heads to Deniliquin Motorsport Complex.
The Northern Territory will see Top End Mud Racing Association kick off its 2026/27 season at Hidden Valley Motor Complex. Meanwhile, the Alice Springs Off Road Race Club will stage the Morton Bros Enduro at Mt Ooraminna, Orange Creek Station, across the weekend.
Tasmania’s program centres on the 2026 Baskerville Historics at Baskerville Raceway.
In Western Australia, Wanneroo Raceway will host both the WASCC Racing Championship Round 6 and the Improved Production Racing Australia Nationals, while the 2026 Comfort Glaze Warren River Rally brings special stage rally action to Pemberton.
