We are a passionate team focused on the development, regulation, promotion and administration of motorsport across Australia. As the National Sporting Organisation and custodian of four wheeled motorsport in this country, we are a dedicated, talented and collaborative team committed to doing what is best for the sport.
About the Role
As Participation Coordinator, you will help shape and deliver impactful programs and initiatives that encourage more people to get involved in motorsport across Australia. As Participation Coordinator you will:
- Plan, coordinate and deliver participation programs including Girls on Track, Women’s Introduction to Motorsport, First Gear and Esports
- Manage event budgets and administration to support smooth program delivery
- Oversee program communications, including the Motorsport Australia Esports Discord channel and social media platforms
- Contribute to the design of new programs and the continuous improvement of existing initiatives
- Collaborate with government relations and corporate affairs teams to deliver partner commitments and support grant acquittal requirements
- Coordinate the Motorsport Australia Sim-Hire program
About You
You are an organised and proactive coordinator with experience delivering programs or events in sport, recreation or a similar environment. You will also have experience working with sim racing and gaming equipment. You bring strong communication, stakeholder engagement and customer service skills, along with the ability to manage competing priorities, budgets and administration. An interest in motorsport and confidence using Microsoft Office are essential, while qualifications or experience in sport, education, training, volunteers, funding or CRM systems would be highly regarded.
We will offer you a supportive learning environment and a great team culture. This role is based at our office in Canterbury, Melbourne, with flexibility to work some hours from home. The role may require occasional travel to events and requires some after-hours and weekend work.

- Membership Department: Assist with processing competitor licences and work closely in a team environment.
- Motorsport Operations: Assist with day-to-day administration and understand the intricacies of motorsport administration.
- Sport Development: Provide administration support to the Sport and Club Development team, and gain an understanding about increasing participation in motorsport.
