Accountant
An opportunity exists to join us as our Accountant. In this role you will work as part of a great team and will hold a key role in managing the day-to-day finance function.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Month-end reporting and analysis
- Debtor management
- Banking including documentation, deposits and reconciliation
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with year-end audited financial statements preparation (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Hands-on tax compliance (BAS, FBT)
- Process improvement initiatives
- Support the Finance Manager and CFO in the timely and accurate completion of all finance and accounting tasks
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Well-developed communication and relationship management skills
- An attention to detail
- Experienced in financial reporting and analysis
- Solid IT skills, with excellent Excel skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Innovative approach to problem solving
- Initiative to learn and willingness to ask questions
- Tertiary qualified with prior experience in similar size organisations
