In 2025, Hillclimb SA will play host to the 2025 Supaservice Tyre and Auto Motorsport Australia Hill Climb Championship.
The Motorsport Australia Hill Climb Championship is part of the National Speed and Auto Test Championships, this event is run annually at a different venue each year. Grassroots competitors have an opportunity to compete nationally for the title.

The Supaservice Tyre and Auto Motorsport Australia Hill Climb Championship is your chance to compete on a national stage.
Before entering, please ensure you carefully read all the information provided below, including the eligibility, licence and entry requirements.

Entry Fee Adults : $560
Entry Fee Juniors: $400
Junior drivers must be between 14-18 years old at the time of the event.
Pit and carport entry information can be found in the Supplementary Regulations.
Competitors must hold a Motorsport Australia Speed Licence at a minimum and must be a member of a Motorsport Australia Affiliated Sporting Car Club.
A maximum of two drivers can be entered with the same car.
Competitors must ensure they complete the Motorsport Self-Scrutiny Statement of Vehicle Compliance form and email to entry@hillclimbsa.net before 9pm, 28 September 2025.

Spectators are welcome to this event, there will be parking, food and amenities available for all spectators, no tickets are required for this event.

Friday 10 October
Official timed practice. Each Driver is required to have at least one run during the practice period.
There will be the opportunity for four timed practice runs during the day as follows:

What is the Motorsport Australia Hill Climb Championship?
The Motorsport Australia Hill Climb Championship is part of the Speed and Auto Test National Championships. These events occur annually at a different state each year.
The essence of hill climbing is that it is a single car on the track at a time running against the clock.
Part of the skill involved in hill climbing is learning to drive the car quickly without the opportunity to warm tyres and brakes. It therefore proves to be an invaluable training ground for drivers in all aspects of car control.
