In 2026, WA Sporting Car Club will play host to the 2026 Motorsport Australia Hill Climb Championship.
The Motorsport Australia Hill Climb Championship is part of the National Speed and Auto Test Championships, this event is run annually at a different venue each year. Grassroots competitors have an opportunity to compete nationally for the title.

The Supaservice Tyre and Auto Motorsport Australia Hill Climb Championship is your chance to compete on a national stage.
Before entering, please ensure you carefully read all the information provided below, including the eligibility, licence and entry requirements.

Competitors must hold a Motorsport Australia Speed Licence at a minimum and must be a member of a Motorsport Australia Affiliated Sporting Car Club.
A maximum of two drivers can be entered with the same car.

Friday 10 October
Official timed practice. Each Driver is required to have at least one run during the practice period.
There will be the opportunity for four timed practice runs during the day as follows:

What is the Motorsport Australia Hill Climb Championship?
The Motorsport Australia Hill Climb Championship is part of the Speed and Auto Test National Championships. These events occur annually at a different state each year.
The essence of hill climbing is that it is a single car on the track at a time running against the clock.
Part of the skill involved in hill climbing is learning to drive the car quickly without the opportunity to warm tyres and brakes. It therefore proves to be an invaluable training ground for drivers in all aspects of car control.
Who can enter this event?
Competitors must hold a Motorsport Australia Speed Licence at a minimum.

Entries for this event closed on 14 September 2025.

Entry Fee Adults : $560
Entry Fee Juniors: $400
How do I watch?
Spectators are welcome to attend this event. There are no tickets required. The event will be held at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park.
