In 2026, Westlakes Automobile Club Inc and MG Car Club (Newcastle) Inc will play host to the 2026 Motorsport Australia National Khanacross Championship.
The Motorsport Australia National Khanacross Championship is part of the National Speed and Auto Test Championships, this event is run annually at a different venue each year. Grassroots competitors have an opportunity to compete nationally for the title.

What is the Motorsport Australia Khanacross Championship?
The Motorsport Australia Khanacross Championship is part of the Speed and Auto Test National Championships. These events occur annually at a different state each year.
Khanacross is conducted primarily on unsealed surfaces. Similar as a test of driving skills to motorkhanas, but on a course up to 1.5km’s long, khanacross is a great opportunity to learn car control at slightly higher speeds.
Khanacross can be enjoyed in everything from a standard road car through to purpose built specials.

Entry Fee Senior: $150
Entry Fee Junior: $75
How do I watch?
Spectators are welcome to attend this event. No tickets are required, however a gold coin donation is needed upon entry.
How do I volunteer?
Volunteer information will be available soon.
Competitors must hold a Motorsport Australia Speed or Speed Junior Licence at a minimum.
A maximum of four drivers can be entered with the same car.
