The Adelaide Motorsport Festival will return to the South Australian capital for another huge year as a host of cars and motorbike take part in the annual festival.

The festival kicks off on Friday, 30 November with the Peak Hour of Power, a parade
Some of the notable cars taking part in the Peak Hour of Power include the new Brabham BT62 supercar piloted by David Brabham, the HT Monaro driven in Peter Brock’s first ever podium finish and the Possum Bourne
Joining the iconic vehicles will be two current Porsche 962 Le Mans cars, a Lamborghini Super Trofeo Evo and a variety of classic Formula One cars including the Brabham BT58 and 1989 Scuderia Italia Dallara.
A crowd of thousands is expected to attend the Gouger Street Party where the cars and drivers will be on display accompanying a range of free entertainment available for the public.
Saturday morning will see the festival roar into life at the Victoria Park Sprint circuit as a diverse list of categories tackle the shortened version of the original Adelaide Formula One.
Some of the racing categories fans can look forward to seeing are Formula One, Heritage Touring Cars, Modified Production Cars, V8 Sedans, Historic and Classic Open Wheelers
Spectators will also get to witness the unmissable Lap of the Gods session which will see racing legends John Bowe, Jim Richards
Fans have the chance to join Lowndes in the LaFerrari through a raffle to take place in the weekend, with proceeds going to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

The Lap of the Gods won’t be the only time Bowe takes
Behind the wheel of a modified Ford Mustang, Bowe will up against Supercars regular and 2017 Super2 Series winner Todd Hazelwood and 2018 Supercars title contender Shane van Gisbergen.
With Hazelwood armed with a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and van Gisbergen piloting a Camaro ZL1, it will be a traditional best-of-three race of full throttle down the straight.
While the ‘Civil War’ showdown will create a lot of entertainment, fans can also witness special drift sessions to take place with drifting stalwarts Jake ‘Driftsquid’ Jones, Daniel Prior, Darren Gunn and Dean Newcomb going up against each other in a drift battle royale.
Outside of the on-track action across the festival, the entertainment off-track doesn’t stop there with a host of displays occurring throughout the weekend.

The festival will have non-stop entertainment and will provide plenty of catering options, roving entertainers and kids’ activities making it a family-friendly event.
