Entries for next month’s CAMS Australian Targa Championship opening round, Targa North West, will remain open for another two weeks.
The third-year event is scheduled to take place in on 16-17 February and entries can be submitted up until Friday, 1 February.
More than 30 crews have already confirmed their place in the event and those interested in competing now have the option to enter one of six categories with the entry fees ranging from $1,190 to $2,290.

Headlining the current list of competitors are Targa stars Jason and John White, the seven-time Targa Tasmania champions looking to make amends for a disappointing opening round in 2018.
The Dodge Viper pilots were unable to finish the event, which eventually ruined their title aspirations despite winning the remaining three rounds for the year.
Also on the early bid list of competitors is Peter Nunn and Keith Johnstone, the 2016 Porsche GTS pilots hoping to replicate their 2017 performance after just missing out on an outright podium last year.

The two-day event will see competitors tackle around 170km on 11 stages across Tasmania’s North West and include visits to the picturesque Savage River and Hellyer Gorge.
Both locations, as well as the town of Burnie which will host the overnight stays, are also part of the iconic Targa Tasmania course map, giving drivers optimal preparation for the Championship’s biggest event.
